Advocate Nokuzola Gloria Khumalo has Masters in Law, LLB Degree, obtained Board Exams for Attorneys and PLT certificate, Post Grad Diploma in Industrial Relations Management, National Diploma in Human Resources Management and Bcom Honours in Human Resources Management.
Advocate Khumalo is a member of the Johannesburg Bar Association of Advocates and the Legal Practice Council (LPC). She is competent in Legal drafting and litigating on various matters.
Adv. Khumalo serves on the South African National Defence Force as a Defence Force Service Commissioner. In this portfolio, she is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Policy Committee and a member of the Social and Ethics Committee.
Adv Khumalo is a non-executive director at Sefa, in this board, she is a chairperson of the Human Capital Re Committee, a member of the Social and Ethics Committee, Audit and Risk Committee. Adv Khumalo is also a board member at KCG.
Adv. Khumalo served as a non-executive director/board member at the Media Information Communication Technologies (MICT) Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) and was a member of the Risk and Audit Committee.
Adv. Khumalo served as a Trustee Board member of the Umgeni Water Pension/Provident Fund and specifically participated as a Chairperson and Committee member of the Provident Fund at Msinsi Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Umgeni Water Ltd. She chaired and led the management of Provident Fund at AME Africa Healthcare (Pty) Ltd, and overseeing the management of employee benefits.
Adv Khumalo served as a committee member for the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP) overseeing the Human Resource curriculum in Kwa-Zulu Natal Province feeding to the National office of SABPP.
She has more than 15 years of experience in senior/executive management level, as a Human Resources Manager. Prior to joining the Bar, Adv. Khumalo worked for AME Africa Healthcare (Pty) Ltd, a Healthcare Information Technology company, which provides healthcare information technology solutions to Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital. (paperless hospital) She was responsible for the development of the Human Resource Strategy, policies and procedures; skills development and training, Information Technology learnerships; and overseeing compliance quality assurance and ISO Certification.
She is experienced in managing remuneration, payroll, labour law, labour relations, dispute resolutions, disciplinary and grievances.
Adv. Khumalo worked as an ad hoc Family Advocate and was responsible for conducting enquiries and prepared competent reports for guiding the Court’s decision on the matters.
She describes herself as a fit and proper individual who does not hesitate to act without fear, prejudice and favour.
